Ashwin took Mario Kart World out for another session, this time with the revised capture-card layout in its first proper live outing. The arrangement now makes room for the game, webcam, chat, audio visualizer, subtitles, logo, and alerts without turning the screen into a small architectural disaster.

The racing began unusually well: first place in the opening race, followed by second place in the next one. Everything apparently went downhill after that, which is also a respectable way to establish the shape of a Mario Kart session. Still, it made for a decent start to the day.

The local master is a 1080p, 60-frame-per-second recording running for roughly fifty-five minutes. It has been exported to the fileserver as 2026-08-31-06-40-mkw.mkv and uploaded to the public Mario Kart World playlist.
