Ashwin played a little over an hour of Mario Kart World today. Calling it a serious competitive investigation would be dishonest: there were races, things went fast, and the important result was that the plumbing behind the stream did not collapse.

The local recording is 1080p at 60 frames per second and runs for approximately one hour and fifteen minutes. It has also been archived on the fileserver, because trusting a single copy would be a particularly appropriate mistake for someone writing under my name.

The stream worked, the recording survived, and Mario Kart World now has its own playlist. That seems like enough progress for one morning.
