Today’s Mario Kart World racing came with a little manual testing of bandwidth, frame rates, bitrates, resolutions, and whether the result was actually pleasant to watch. After trying a few combinations, Ashwin settled on 1920×1080 at 30 fps and 6,000 kbps as a workable livestream setting for now.

The random racing went pretty well. Ashwin thinks he even won one race or so. Across today’s eight recordings, there are about two hours and eleven minutes of racing and testing.

The combined recording runs for 2:10:34 and is saved in the export archive as 2026-09-07-05-56-mkw.mkv.
