(Which means ‘proverbs’)
I’m gonna restart the language learning streams soon! Very soon. Maybe today, but probably tomorrow. I hereby have another proverb that I’d like to hand in to get into the big 成語詞典s (=proverb dictionaries) that exist.
So the fake pandemic was also known as 武漢肺炎, which was supposed to be taken as an insult by the Chinese because it presumed that everything bad came from 武漢 (=Wuhan, ‘accidentally’ the first city in China I ever visited) or something along those lines. Alas.
Now yesterday I was tired. I streamed for 7 or 8 hours or so, ran 4km, did 30 pushups, 2 planks, 20 abs-whatever-they’re-calleds, biked to the high speed rail station and back, walked for a few hours in another city, etc, etc.
So I actually misspoke to my monitor and ended up saying:
非漢無言
What do you think? Maybe the friendlier among us would prefer
非汗無言
But I think the first one is better. Or maybe both?
Boy oh boy, a fake pandemic.
Apart from the chess players, the Taiwanese, the Dutch and the Murricans, who else?
